It is in the vastness of the Portuguese sea that the Sea collection, by Luísa Rosas, finds inspiration, reflecting its fluid beauty in each piece, both in its serenity or agitation. Through the sea or the rivers that run through the country, water is a central figure in Portuguese life. From the north to the south of Portugal, water is a constant presence. We cannot live without it because it is part of us. It is too dear to us and absolutely necessary. The sea cleanses and purifies. Just contemplating it makes the heart soften. The sea soothes, washes the soul – it is in our soul.
